About Dr Daniels
Dr Daniels offers a comprehensive service for all eye conditions. He specialises in Glaucoma and Cataract surgery and surgery to eradicate glasses. Since commencing his private practice in 2007, he has performed in excess of 15000 procedures.
Dr Daniels completed his medical degree at UWA, where he also obtained a Masters Degree in gene therapy in the eye. Dr Daniels undertook his Glaucoma Specialist Training (Fellowship) at the esteemed Bristol Eye Hospital in the UK.
Dr Daniels is the Chairman of the Perth Eye Hospital – the largest private eye Hospital in Australia. The Perth Eye Hospital Supports: John Fawcett Foundation, SJOG of Jerusalem, The East Timor Project & Cambodia Vision.
Dr Daniels operates at SJOG Hospital, Subiaco and The Perth Eye Hospital for his privately insured patients and Bentley Hospital for his uninsured patients.
Dr Daniels is the author of multiple publications. He also maintains an active teaching role to optometrists and colleagues.
About your appointment
To make an appointment with Dr Dru Daniels, you will need a current referral from your optometrist, GP or specialist. You should allow one hour for your appointment.
Your eyes maybe dilated making it difficult to drive after your consult. We recommend you arrange for someone to drive you to and from your appointment.
What to Bring:
- A referral from your GP/Optometrist OR your Specialist (NB a Specialist referral only lasts 3 months)
- Medicare Card or DVA Card Private health fund card (if applicable)
- Pension Card (if applicable)
- Your current glasses
- List of your current medications and allergies
