About Dr Daniels
Dr Daniels completed his medical and Masters degree at the University of Western Australia (UWA). Dr Daniels undertook his Glaucoma Specialist Training (Fellowship) at the esteemed Bristol Eye Hospital in the UK.
Dr Daniels offers a comprehensive service for all eye conditions. He specialises in Cataract surgery, Refractive Lens Exchange (surgery to eradicate the need for glasses), Glaucoma Procedures (trabeculectomy, Baerveldt tubes, Xen and iStents), Pterygium and Plastic Surgery procedures. Since commencing his private practice in 2007, he has performed in excess of 30,000 procedures.
Dr Daniels sits on the Special Advisory Committee of the Cura Day Hospital Group, who manage the Perth Eye Hospital– the largest private eye Hospital in Australia. He also operates at SJOG Subiaco Eye Hospital.
Dr Daniels has volunteered his medical and surgical skills to train local ophthalmologists in East Timor and spent time volunteering in India over the past decade.
Dr Daniels is the author of multiple publications. He also maintains an active teaching role to optometrists and colleagues.

About your appointment
To make an appointment with Dr Dru Daniels, you will need a current referral from your optometrist, GP or specialist. You should allow one hour for your appointment.
Your eyes maybe dilated making it difficult to drive after your consult. We recommend you arrange for someone to drive you to and from your appointment.
Please note that only Pensioner Concession Card holders will be bulk billed, there may be a $100 gap payment for scans that are not covered by Medicare.
What to Bring:
- A referral from your GP/Optometrist OR your Specialist (NB a Specialist referral only lasts 3 months)
- Medicare Card or DVA Card Private health fund card (if applicable)
- Pension Card (if applicable)
- Your current glasses
- List of your current medications and allergies
